Islamic AI is an Islamic AI assistant from the umma.ru team, the portal for “Reliable Information About Islam.” It helps you understand the questions that come up in everyday life: how to perform salah, what invalidates a fast, how a nikah is conducted, whether taking out a mortgage is permissible, and how to build healthy family relationships.

Ask your question in ordinary language—just as you would ask an imam. Islamic AI responds with an explanation based on the Quran and Sunnah, as well as books and articles by Shamil Alyautdinov and other scholars published on umma.ru. Links to the original sources appear below the answer, so you can open them and read the full text.

An assistant, not a mufti

Islamic AI does not issue fatwas and cannot replace a living scholar. It is a study aid: it can help you get oriented, remember the steps to take, and find the right resource. But decisions about difficult, disputed or personal matters—divorce, inheritance, health and family conflicts—should be made with an imam or mufti.

Can I cite an answer from Islamic AI as religious evidence?

No. The evidence is the original source provided below the answer—a published article, book or fatwa. Islamic AI helps you find and understand it more quickly, but the answer itself is not evidence.

Does Islamic AI follow a particular madhhab?

No. Islamic AI draws on materials from umma.ru and, when scholars hold different views, tries to present the various positions. If you need an answer according to a specific madhhab, say so explicitly in your question.

What happens to my conversation history?

It is stored in your account so Islamic AI can remember the context of your conversation. Your conversations are not published or used for advertising.

Which languages can I use to ask questions?

Any language. Ask in Russian, English, Uzbek, Tatar or another language, and the answer will come in the same language. The site interface itself is currently available in Russian and English.

What does Islamic AI get wrong most often?
